Hyundai Sonata Joins Top 10 Sellers in U.S.

The Hyundai Sonata mid-sized sedan has made a list of the top 10 best-selling vehicles in the U.S. for the first time.

According to magazine Forbes, the redesigned Hyundai Sonata had one of the "most impressive sales performance of the year," selling close to 167,000 units from January to October this year, posting a 64 percent year-on-year hike.

The bi-weekly added the Sonata's sharp look, impressive fuel efficiency and high value for money were mainly responsible for the car reaching the top 10 this year. The Sonata did not even rank in the top 20 last year.
